Championship
Despite losing their first two games - I think Andy Johnson's goals and Iain Dowie's canny management will see them bounce straight back. I also see Leeds surprising many by bagging second spot. Things are beginning to turn around at Elland Road and the signing of Robbie Blake from Blues was a shrewd one.

The playoffs will feature the East Anglian pair of Ipswich and Norwich, with perennial promotion chasers Sheffield Utd also figuring. The final slot will go to League One Champions Luton who will shock everyone by snatching sixth. Just missing out will be Wolves.

Milwall, Crewe and Brighton will go down - but Burnley will also be right in the mire too.

Promoted: Crystal Palace, Leeds
Playoffs: Ipswich, Norwich, Sheff Utd, Luton
Down: Brighton, Millwall, Crewe

League One
Under the stewardship of Sir Gary of Megson I can see Forest coming straight back up. They acquired some veteran lower league players, plus with the likes of Kris Commons and David Johnson still in the squad, the quality is there. Likewise with Bristol City who have Michael Bridges and Marcus Stewart up front - both with top level experience. Tranmere and Huddersfield will also challenge for the top two spots.

Promoted: Forest, Bristol City
Playoffs: Tranmere, Huddersfield, Yeovil, Bradford
Down: Rotherham, Port Vale, MK Dons, Chesterfield

League Two
Darlington and Oxford have got money and Wycombe have got a great manager in John Gorman. The Iceman, Gudjon will steer the Magpies to the playoffs in his first season. Shrewsbury and Rushden are going down...

Promoted: Darlington, Wycombe, Oxford
Playoffs: Notts County, Maccesfield, Wrexham, Torquay
Down: Shrewsbury, Rushden and Diamonds

Perhaps not unexpectedly, Kenny predicts West Ham will stay up.
