Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns & Roses has been named as the greatest guitar riff in history by readers of Total Guitar Magazine. Stoke on Trent born legend Slash has come up trumps, with GnR at number 19 as well as number 1! It's also a victory for premiere GnR tribute band Bad Obsession, who should receive some extra summer bookings. Incidentaly they are playing at legendary rock venue The Rigger in Newcastle under Lyme in a few weeks.

It's nice to see Van Halen in there but where are some of the other legends of cock rock? And what the devil are Muse doing in there????

I saw a new interview with Slash and Izzy Stradlin on MTV2 a few weeks ago and Slash shockingly wasn't wearing his hat. Where has it gone? Has he lost it? Maybe people kept mistaking him for Scottish comedian Jerry Sadowitz...
